Delete account
Lokly allows users to request deletion of their account and associated platform access through supported account and privacy settings.
Deleting your account is intended to permanently disable your access to Lokly and remove certain profile-related information from public visibility.
Some deletion-related systems may vary depending on:
- platform version
- account type
- subscription status
- feature availability
- supported regions
What happens when you delete your account
When an account deletion request is completed, some actions may occur automatically, including:
- profile visibility being removed
- access to the account being disabled
- public posts becoming unavailable
- nearby discovery visibility being removed
- follower and following relationships being disconnected
- subscriptions or business-related features being disabled
Some content or information may continue to exist temporarily across backups, moderation systems, or operational infrastructure for a limited period of time.
Information that may be retained temporarily
In some situations, Lokly may temporarily retain limited information for purposes including:
- legal compliance
- abuse prevention
- fraud detection
- platform security
- operational backups
- safety and moderation systems
Retention periods may vary depending on applicable requirements and platform systems.
Subscriptions and promotions
Deleting an account does not automatically guarantee refunds for:
- subscriptions
- verification features
- sponsored promotions
- business services
- paid platform features
Some active subscriptions may continue until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
Please review the Subscription Terms and applicable policies before deleting your account.
Business accounts and products
If your account includes business-related features, deleting your account may:
- remove public business visibility
- disable products or promotions
- stop access to business tools
- affect sponsored campaigns or subscriptions
Some campaign-related information may remain temporarily available for operational or billing purposes.
Re-registering after deletion
Depending on platform systems and availability:
- some usernames may remain unavailable after deletion
- some account-related information may not be recoverable
- repeated abuse or policy violations may affect future account access
Lokly may limit account recreation attempts intended to bypass platform safety systems.
Platform changes
Deletion systems, recovery windows, retention periods, and account management features may evolve over time as Lokly expands and updates platform infrastructure.
